Seven Star Marine Inc. expects our suppliers to share our high standards for quality
Suppliers shall deliver products compliant to the latest revision of all drawings, operation sheets, specifications and special processes
Suppliers shall deliver products with clear identification
Suppliers shall employ personnel who are qualified for special processing as applicable
Suppliers shall maintain a written quality management system which meets necessary industry standards
Suppliers shall maintain documentation of applicable specifications, drawings, inspection instructions, test reports and other relevant technical data at their facility
Supplier’s records shall be maintained and available for a minimum of ten years
Suppliers shall notify Seven Star Marine of changes in product, process definition, process approval, changes to facilities location and, where required, obtain Seven Star Marine's approval for such change
Suppliers shall notify Seven Star Marine of the release of nonconforming products immediately
Suppliers shall provide test specimens for design approval, inspection/verification, investigation, or auditing when required by Seven Star Marine
Suppliers shall be subject to evaluation
Suppliers shall be required to use customer approved designated sources when necessary
Suppliers shall not use and/or provide counterfeit products
Seven Star Marine will communicate to external providers our requirements for:
The specific process, product and services to be provided
Our approval of:
1) products and services
2) methods, processes and equipment
3) the release of products and services
Competence, including and required qualifications and certifications
The external provider’s interactions with our organization
Control and monitoring of the external provider’s performance
Verification and validation activities to be performed at the external providers premisses
